Joining sentences Kiedy opowiadamy historię zazwyczaj używamy krótkich zdań, w takiej kolejności w jakiej wydarzenia przebiegały. W wypowiedzi pisemnej zdania są jednak bardziej rozbudowane. Przyjrzyj się tym przykładom porównującym obie formy wypowiedzi: 1. ‘Well, you see, the train was late so we didn’t arrive till midnight. We were much too late for dinner at the hotel and we had to go to bed hungry. It was awful!’ 2.
