This comedy raises the odd laugh, largely from an absurd appearance by Christopher Walken as a sinister martial-arts kingpin villain - another one for his bulging portfolio of bizarre roles. Dan Fogler plays a down-and-out table-tennis pro who humiliated himself at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and is now reduced to playing the Vegas circuit with his novelty ping-pong act. Then he is recruited by the FBI to infiltrate Walken's Enter the Dragon-style tournament, which takes place on a secret island. Probably a rental, this one.
